PakBilling ("we", "us", "our") provides cloud point-of-sale software for restaurants, cafés, and takeaways. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our website, web application, and mobile app ("Pak Billing Restaurant POS").

Information we collect

• Account data: name, email address, and password (stored securely hashed) when you register or are invited as staff.
• Business data: restaurant name, menu items, orders, payments, inventory, and reports you enter into the system.
• Mobile app: a secure authentication token is stored on your device (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore) so you stay signed in. We do not store your password on the device.
• Contact form: name, email, phone (optional), and message when you reach out via our website.
• Technical data: server logs (IP address, browser/app type, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting.

How we use information

• Provide and operate the POS, kitchen display, reporting, and related features.
• Authenticate users and enforce role-based access within your restaurant account.
• Respond to support requests and product enquiries.
• Improve reliability, security, and performance of our services.
• Comply with legal obligations where applicable.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only:

• With service providers who help us host and operate the platform (under confidentiality obligations).
• When required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
• With your consent, or at your direction (e.g. integrations you enable).

Each restaurant's data is isolated in our multi-tenant system — your data is not visible to other restaurants.

Data retention

We retain account and business data while your subscription is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records for legal or accounting purposes.

Security

We use HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls, tenant isolation, and industry-standard password hashing. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we work continuously to protect your data.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Restaurant owners can manage staff accounts from the admin console.

Children

Our services are intended for business use and are not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated date.
